Our program for the month of June was very informative on knife making. It was given by Joe Girtner who is a retired college professor, having taught at Cerritos College, Norwalk, CA for 32 years.

He is a career artist/craftsman working in jewelry, wood carving, knife and carving tool making. He has slides to demonstrate the processes used. Also, he uses actual material showing the entire process from beginning to the end. Finally, exhibiting his collection of knives he made.
